In the cold of winter, nothing quite satisfies like a bowl of delicious warming soup. Come expand your soup repertoire and learn techniques for making delicious bone broths as a basis for all kinds of soups and stews. There's an African proverb that says "Good broth raises the dead." Bone broths greatly increase the nutritional value of anything to which it's added. Since vegetables are our "glow foods" we'll be using lots of the more common ones, but also all kinds of other nourishing greens which are so high in nutrients. Recipes will be provided as well as other handouts to increase your knowledge of how to utilize nutrient dense ingredients to get increased health and vitality from your food. This is a hands-on class and we will be making two different kinds of soup with each person taking two quarts home.

We will are spend time creating delicious, vibrant salads and learning how to make greens a more regular part of your diet. Vegetables are some of the most nutrient dense and healthful foods. They are our "GLOW" foods, essential for creating healthy skin, hair and prevention of all types of disease. Vegetables and fruits have many more anti-oxidants than any other types of food, hence their health promoting qualities. Learn to be more creative in incorporating more of these foods into your diet and also how delicious they can be. This is a hands on class and you will take home all of what we make.
